I met Monty and Amber at Starbucks in February to discuss their June 1 wedding. It was immediately obvious they are perfect together and that they were planning an incredibly fun day to celebrate with family and friends! The wedding day was great, and I wish the Ridgeways all the best!
This was definitely one of my favorite sessions ever. We spent so much time laughing that two hours passed without anyone realizing it!
Emily is my sister-in-law, and on July 27, Ben will become my brother-in-law. I couldn’t be happier for these two! They bring out the best in each other and make every family event so much more fun. Ben fits so well that it’s hard to believe he was ever not part of the family!
I can’t wait to see Emily and Ben’s style played out in their wedding, and I’m so excited for their new life-together adventures. I hope these pictures show a little of the happiness I sense from them. Thank you both for the honor of being part of these pictures!
Does anyone know a guy who just lovvves to have his picture taken? Anyone…anyone? That’s what I thought! That’s why I admire Emily for convincing Brian to take annual couples pictures! And of course Brian is a great sport about it. They found this awesome place outside Stillwater for pictures last Saturday, and we had a great time capturing moments to commemorate the Warwicks’ third anniversary!
Callie and Stu met in Stillwater while they were both students at OSU, and now they are planning their fabulous wedding for September! Callie is my *beautiful* cousin, and I’m so excited for her and Stu! It’s obvious that these two have a ton of fun together, and we had a blast taking these photos in Enid, OK (and those great brick walls are compliments of Garfield Furniture!).
With one sibling recently back from military training, the Taylors decided it was time for family photos. I think part of family photos should be the experience of them. It’s a memory all on its own. This family was so much fun that I bet they make great memories, no matter WHAT they are doing!
The Longs wanted to mark Jackson’s first birthday with family pictures, and we had a great time at Theta Pond. What I learned is that one-year-old boys are far more interested in chasing ducks than taking pictures, but he managed to oblige us when he wasn’t too busy!

I love families who love pictures as much as I do. To commemorate every child’s birthday, this family gets new family pictures. With three kids, that’s 3 family photo sessions a year! Talk about some great memories! This session shows off the kiddo who is celebrating his 5th birthday…and his first birthday as a BIG brother instead of just a little brother!
Sara and Richard were one of my first brave volunteer couples when I was taking photography classes at Meridian Technology Center. Since then, they have given me the honor of taking pics of them and their furry, four-legged kid Max on several occasions. Max seems to be warming up to camera…or maybe it’s just that we took the pics in Downtown OKC, and he didn’t have as many bugs and critters to distract him! Either way, we had a great morning session, and these are some of the results!
Warning to any lady dogs who might be looking on: Max is a pretty fine-looking gentleman…viewing may lead to drool!

Emily and I met in photography class. Then, we started going to the same Bible study. Now, we work in the same office! One step closer, and we would be roommates! (I don’t know how our husbands would feel about that.) Emily is a constant source of encouragement in my photographic ventures. She gives me new ideas, keeps me thinking about photography, and provides an outlet for discussing our photography businesses. Plus, she’s an awesome photographer, and you can check out her blog! Three boys!! Anyone who has three boys must be incredibly brave…not to mention energetic and organized…and tired! If anyone is cut out for the job, it’s Marshalene and Brad. Taking their pictures felt a lot like hanging out in the park with a super fun family, and their incredibly close bond is evident in their photos. These are taken at the Major County Historical Society in Fairview.
